It's a shame so many bands have to ruin good music with all this Satanism schtick. Sure, most of them try to do it as a joke. But there's nothing funny about mocking God. God is real, and one day they're going to have to explain it to Him.
@peepso_user_138(Dave McCue) I'm all about mocking organized religion, but looking at the lyric sheets from their earlier albums, most of their songs are just straight-up prayers to Satan. No mockery, cleverness, or artistry. Even putting religious issues aside, the whole "haha we don't like God" was cringe-y and embarrassing edgelord crap back when Marilyn Manson did it. Now it's just boring.

@peepso_user_1221(TheGorilla) early albums, yes, I think they played up the satanic stuff for notoriety. Of late, it’s been more along the lines of absurdity, with pseudo-evil pop metal.

@peepso_user_1221(TheGorilla) I had to look up "edgelord." That would make a great band name.

Phantom Of The Opera, mostly because I've always wanted you to react to the original Iron Maiden song lol. Maybe you can do both and see how they compare?

Definitely not Phantom of the Opera, it just sounds like a straight Maiden cover! Jesus He Knows Me is the catchiest thing I've heard in forever, though don't know if it's different enough from Spillways to show you another side of the band. It's Ghost doing that thing they do and doing it really well.
